Emergency Satellite Hospital Nahaqi Peshawar, is a Category C Rural Health Centre in Nahaqi (an outlying village of Peshawar on Peshawar – Charsadda road). A densely populated village as it is, the hospital gets considerable number of patients where they receive basic emergency medical, surgical treatment and major surgical treatment in the fields of OBS/GYN and Orthopedics.

It is a 40-bedded hospital with Emergency, OPD and IPD facilities having a well-equipped laboratory and a Digital X Ray, ultrasound and ECG facilities.

The Hospital consists of several blocks including Emergency, OPD, Wards, Dental and Obs/Gyne sections. The outpatient facilities include specialists for Medical, Eye, Dentistry, OBS/GYN and Orthopedics. Surgery and Pediatrics run as a general OPD. Facilities of Immunization, Family Planning, Benazir Nashonuma program cater to the broader needs of the community. The patient turnover in the OPDs is around 1000 patients a day and the admissions are from 20-25 daily including Obs/Gyn, surgical and observation cases.

RMC, along with health foundation and Category C Emergency Satellite Hospital Nahaqi, signed a 10 years public private partnership agreement in 2022 for medical students teaching and clinical rotations. It also helps to augment the resources of the hospital so that it could better cater to the material needs of the hospital. Under the agreement, RMI has started its relief OPDs at Nahaqi Hospital (in the specialties lacking the qualified staff) to facilitate the hospital and benefit the community. Under this agreement, Nahaqi Hospital has a digitized system for in patients at present likely to cover the data of OPD as well. All these services are to serve the community, improve medical education and strengthen the health system.
