Category D Hospital Jamrud is one of the key health facilities of Department of Health, Government of KPK, and Pakistan. It is located next to iconic “Babe Khyber”, Jamrud of Khyber District. It is located at the gate way to famous Khyber Pass.
It is a 33 bedded hospital. It plays an important role as first responder for the provision of preventive, promotive curative health services.
Apart from serving the catchment population. It is one of the teaching facilities of Rehman Medical College (RMC), where the undergraduate students learn about the different ailments at the Primary level of Health system. Additionally it provides a plate for RMC students for research and generates the evidence for decision making
