Key Healthcare Facility and Teaching Hub

Category D Hospital Jamrud, located beside the iconic “Babe Khyber” at the entrance to the famous Khyber Pass, is a vital healthcare facility under the Department of Health, Government of KPK, Pakistan. As a 33-bed hospital, it serves as a first responder, offering preventive, promotive, and curative health services to the local population.

In addition to serving its catchment area, the hospital is a key teaching facility for Rehman Medical College (RMC). Here, undergraduate students gain hands-on experience in managing various ailments at the primary level of the health system. The hospital also provides a valuable platform for RMC students to conduct research, contributing to evidence-based decision-making in healthcare.
